Sine to Silicon Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

This policy covers two private tools I use to run the Sine to Silicon channel: Sine to Silicon Stats, which uses the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API, and Sine to Silicon Publisher, which uses Meta's Facebook and Instagram APIs. Both are used only by me, on my own accounts. Nobody else can sign in to them.

Who is responsible

Md Kamrul Islam, Cork, Ireland. Contact: md.kamrul.islam20feb@gmail.com.

What the tools access

The tools do not access anyone else's accounts, private messages, contacts or personal data beyond what is listed above.

How the data is used

Only to run the channel: to see how lessons and Shorts are doing, decide what to make and when to post, publish my own content and reply to comments. The data is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with third parties and not used to train AI models.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Sign-in keys and statistics are stored only on my own computer. Weekly statistics summaries are kept for as long as they are useful to plan the channel. Comment text is not stored by the tools beyond what is needed to show and answer a comment.

Google API data

Sine to Silicon Stats' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It also follows the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Removing access and deleting data

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of data about you, or ask me to correct or delete it. If you think I have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
