This is a personal portfolio site. It is deliberately minimal about data: there is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no cookie banner, because there is nothing here that would need one.

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, subject and message. I use it for one purpose — to read your enquiry and reply to it.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: my legitimate interest in responding to people who deliberately contact me. Sending the form is entirely your choice; if you would rather not use it, email me directly instead.
The form is delivered by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which receives your submission and forwards it to my inbox. Their handling of it is governed by their own privacy policy. From there the message sits in my email like any other.
I do not sell, publish, or share your details with anyone else.
Enquiries are deleted within 12 months, unless we are still in an ongoing conversation or I need to keep the exchange for a specific reason, in which case I keep it only for as long as that reason lasts.
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you. Google Analytics was removed in September 2026.
One thing is stored in your browser: if you switch between the dark and light theme, that preference is saved in localStorage under portfolio-theme. It never leaves your device, it is not an identifier, and it exists only because you asked for it — so it does not require consent. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of serving them. That is a standard web-font request, not tracking by me.
Under the GDPR you may ask me to give you a copy of the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how I use it, or provide it in a portable format. Email me and I will action it — normally within a few days, and in any case within one month.
If you think I have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Irish supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commission.
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
